It’s rare, but YVR ponds seem skateable. The pesky “danger, thin ice” sign hasn’t disappeared, but neither has that intrepid group of hockey players who shovelled a rink out of last night’s dump. This shot is prior to the snowfall, looking west through the dangling fingers of a willow.
