autumn VGH moment

An oldie but a goodie. In 2011 I wrote about this image: “Something about this is pretty much EVERY sunny autumn morning in VGH”. And it’s true. I had just gotten my first DSLR thanks to all my friends getting me one (thanks Sarah!), and I was enamored with cross processing. So I was at the Lightroom sliders on almost every image I took, and this effect (which is pretty much pushing hues away from green) seemed to capture something I love about autumn and Vancouver (actually, it’s the same preset I used on the image before this 5+ years later). Fire. And cold. All bite. Fresh. Alive.

Use the left and right arrow keys or click on the left or right side of the picture to move from post to post. This is all very "under development".
